A good corner booth has to satisfy two requirements that pull in opposite directions. Against the walls it must be square, with no gap. Where guests sit, it should be rounded, so nobody has a hard right angle in the back. The Chelsea does both.
The outside is a true 90-degree corner that sits tight to both walls. The inside forms a 23.5 in (60 cm) radius, with a fan-shaped seat cushion at the corner. A single brass trim runs along the top, moving from straight to curved and back without a visible joint.
Size. Each leg is 47 in (120 cm) long, giving a booth that seats four to five around a square or round table.
Construction. Two leg sections and a corner section bolted together; walls fixed with concealed cleats.
Options. Leg lengths (each can differ), inside radius, back height, upholstery, trim finish. We can also build it for corners that are not exactly 90 degrees.
