The Prince borrows a detail from luggage: two leather straps run over the top of the back and buckle on the front face, as if the cushion were strapped to the frame. The back itself is channeled horizontally, the seat sits as two deep cushions, and a contrast piping line separates the upholstered shell from the base rail.
Colorways shown. Cream back with a tan seat; burgundy shell with a cream seat; sage shell with cream seat; and all-sage. The straps are tan leather in every version, which ties a room full of different booth colors together.
In the room. The photos show Prince booths facing each other across walnut-top tables on black pedestal bases, in a garden-style dining room with stone floors and planting. Back-to-back placement in the middle of the floor works because the outer back is fully finished.
Construction. Hardwood frame with plywood back form, high-resilience seat foam, straps fixed through to the frame rather than only stitched to the cover. The base is a slim upholstered rail on short dark legs, which keeps the seat looking light.
Options. Any combination of two colors in contract leather, vinyl or fabric; strap color and buckle finish; single, double or back-to-back formats. Foams specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
