On most booths the back and seat are two cushions that meet at a crease. On the Lafayette the channels run from the top of the back, down and forward across the seat in one rolled curve, so the profile from the side looks like a single folded ribbon. The ends are flat, contrasting side panels finished with a line of nailheads around the edge.
Colorways shown. Charcoal channels with tan side panels in a window seat; orange with cream sides; sage with cream sides; cream with sage sides. The photos show them in facing pairs and back-to-back rows around walnut tables.
Why it works in a room. The side panel is the face of the booth that guests see walking down an aisle, so making it a contrast color with nailhead trim gives every bay a finished end without extra joinery.
Construction. Plywood and hardwood frame with a shaped seat-and-back form, channel stitching through to a backing layer, high-resilience foam, and slim brass-finish legs with glides.
Options. Channel and panel colors in any contract leather or vinyl, nailhead finish or plain panels, leg finish, lengths. Foams specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
