The Gansevoort is a long, quiet wall banquette. Its back is a sage woven fabric with three broad horizontal channels, its seat a continuous beige leather box, and the whole run sits on a dark wood plinth that is set back from the seat front.
Built for length. Shown as a single long run, the banquette is made in sections that bolt together so it can follow a wall of any length. Horizontal channels hide the section joints better than vertical ones because the line carries straight across.
Two materials. Beige leather or vinyl on the seat for cleaning; sage fabric on the back for softness and color. The pairing is calm enough to sit under artwork or a mirror wall.
Where it works. All-day cafés, bistros, hotel breakfast rooms and wine bars where a run of two-tops sits in front of the banquette with chairs on the aisle side.
Construction. Hardwood and plywood frames, high-resilience foam, back channels stitched to a backing panel, and recessed plinth.
Options. Length, back height, channel count, fabric and seat colors, plinth stain. Seams are placed between table positions on the drawing. Foams specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
