The Bank Street is a wall banquette for the most common restaurant layout there is: a straight run against a wall with two-tops in front and chairs on the aisle side. The back is a tall panel of woven rust fabric with horizontal channels; the seat is a smooth rust leather that cleans easily at the edge where wear is heaviest.
Why mix materials. Fabric on the back gives warmth and absorbs a little sound; leather or vinyl on the seat takes spills and constant sliding in and out. The two tones are close enough to read as one piece.
In the room. The photo shows the banquette along a pale wall under black pendants, with walnut chairs opposite and terrazzo underfoot. Tables can be pushed together for larger parties because the banquette is continuous.
Construction. Built in sections up to about 8 ft (244 cm) that bolt together on site with hidden joints; hardwood and plywood frame, high-resilience seat foam, back panel channel-stitched to a backing, and a slim recessed base.
Options. Any length to your wall, back height, fabric (COM accepted) and seat material, plinth finish. We mark table positions on the drawing so seams fall between guests. Foams specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
