The Jane is a low lounge banquette for bars and cocktail rooms. It has no arms and no visible frame: just a deep seat in rounded, pillow-like sections of brown oil-wax leather, and a lower back of padded black leather blocks sitting on top.
What you see. A white-background photo of a three-seat length. The seat sections are separated by soft seams so the piece looks like a row of cushions; the back blocks line up with them. Oil-wax leather darkens and shows character with use, which suits a bar.
Where it works. Cocktail and whisky bars, hotel bars, lounges and karaoke rooms, placed against a wall with low tables in front. Because it is armless, several units can be lined up into a continuous run.
Seat height. Lower than a dining booth, at about 16 in (41 cm), to suit coffee and cocktail tables rather than dining tables. If you need it at dining height with a 30 in table, we raise the base and say so on the drawing.
Construction. Hardwood and plywood frame hidden under the upholstery, high-resilience foam in each section, leather fixed to individual boards.
Options. Length, back color, seat leather or vinyl, dining or lounge height. Foams specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
