The Varick is the more tailored of our two wall-hung designs. The back is a long rounded cushion with a thin contrast welt at each end, sitting under a deep brushed-brass cap fixed to the wall. The seat is built in two layers, a seat cushion over an upholstered base, each edged with a fine welt, so the bench has a soft, stacked profile when seen from the side. A warm LED strip underneath lights the wall and floor.
Where it works. Narrow restaurants and bars where every inch of floor counts, waiting areas, window walls and chef's counter rooms. Because nothing touches the floor, it suits rooms with radiant floor heating or decorative tile you want to show.
Mounting. The bench hangs on a concealed steel rail fixed to the wall. Your wall must be solid masonry or a stud wall with structural backing; we send the rail detail, fixing centers and loads with the shop drawing so your contractor or engineer can confirm it before install. LED power and driver location are coordinated with your electrician.
Options. Bouclé, fabric, velvet or vinyl (COM accepted); welt color; brass, bronze or black cap; LED on or off; lengths to suit the wall. Foams specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
